The right dímos
The Greek municipal reforms (Kapodistrias 1997, Kallikratis 2011) merged thousands of communities into few dímoi — the grandfather's village is today a district of a larger municipality, and the competent lixiarcheío is the current dímos's. The merger map settles the address before the first contact.

- Name in Greek (ask the family for any old document with the original) AND in the known transliterations.
