How to collect a document already issued in China
The modern Chinese collection rarely happens at the counter: the gongzhengchu dispatches by domestic courier (SF Express and the like deliver across the country in 24-48h), and the representative receives wherever they are. When the counter does come in, the weituoshu and the appointment resolve it.
The standard: domestic courier
China solved internal logistics like nobody else — the ready notarial goes by SF/JD to the representative's address the next day. The mission's design uses this: the representative in any city receives, checks and dispatches the international leg.
When the counter comes in
- Originals to return (the hukou lent to the notary comes back by hand).
- Same-day urgencies.
- The bearer with weituoshu + identity — the usual rite, with an appointment (WeChat/phone) beforehand.
In hand, check
The names' characters (and the pinyin romanisation in the bilingual version — the bridge to the Brazilian chain), dates (mind the calendar: old documents may cite the lunar one), the red stamps complete. The Chinese notarial is standardised and handsome; the check is quick and mandatory.
