The standard: the PDF
The certificate arrives by email and is reprinted at will — the concept of a single copy doesn't exist in the Chilean digital. For the physical archive one: the offices serve with a queue number (the queue system is civilised) and deliver on the spot or notify by email.
Third parties: the poder simple
For in-person procedures on someone else's behalf: the poder simple (written authorisation) with copies of ID cards — and for bigger acts, the Chilean notarial power of attorney. The administrative culture is flexible and digital-first; paper enters where the system still asks.
On screen or in hand, check
Names (the two Chilean surnames), dates, the circunscripción — and the verification code working. The Chilean error is rare (the system is clean); the check is quick and cheap.
