How to request an acta at the RENIEC
The RENIEC request is objective: search, payment, issuance — with the DNI as the shortcut and the data as the alternative. When the system returns empty, the municipal map takes over — and the request becomes the classic Peruvian rite.
The online flow
On the portal: the copia certificada de actas service — a search by DNI or data, online payment (págalo.pe integrates), delivery as a certified PDF or collection at an office. Minutes, when the acta is migrated.
The data kit
- The person's DNI when there is one — the national key.
- Without a DNI: full names (two surnames), date, and the act's DISTRICT/province — Peruvian administrative geography is precise.
- Parents' names; the acta's type.
The municipal route
For the unmigrated: the municipality's civil registry office — an in-person request or by carta poder (with a legalised signature for the safe standard), local fees in soles, the interior's timelines. The region's representative/Hand is the instrument; Andean patience, the method.
