Sending documents from Bolivia to Brazil
The Bolivian exit has the continental neighbour's routes: courier via Santa Cruz or La Paz in days, the patient Andean post, and the land border (Corumbá/Puerto Suárez) for the natural flow — the community always crosses, and envelopes with it.
Before shipping
Apostille at the Cancillería (La Paz/departmental) — and the scanner on the Andean handwritten ones: the translation page appreciates every pixel.
The routes
- Courier (DHL/FedEx via Santa Cruz): 3-6 days: the standard.
- Correos certified: 2-5 weeks.
- The Corumbá border: the community flow's bearer — constant and cheap.
If it goes missing
The SERECÍ reissues the digitised ones easily; the book ones repeat the procedure — duplicate copies on the expeditions, as in the whole Andean arc.
Frequently asked questions
Santa Cruz or La Paz for the courier?+
Both operate; Santa Cruz connects better to eastern Brazil. The mission's itinerary picks the natural hub.
The Bolivian Spanish translation page: the same?+
The same and cheap — with the Andean handwritten ones asking for the usual sharp scan.
