How to file a document in Colombia
The Colombian filing revolves around the radicado — the radicación number every agency gives to what comes in — and the national double route: the physical ventanilla and the portals that file online. The PSE (the Colombian electronic debit) pays fees from afar; paisa cordiality does the rest.
The routes
- The ventanilla de radicación: two copies, the radicado stamped back.
- The portals (radicación electrónica): widespread at the national agencies — with a PDF receipt.
- 4-72 and certified post: the postal route where admitted.
The radicado
It governs enquiries and the law's deadlines (the Colombian derecho de petición — 15 working days to answer, constitutionalised and taken seriously: the sharpest citizen tool in the region). With the radicado, the follow-up has legal teeth.
When people are needed
Notarial originals, autenticaciones, and the less digital interior. The bearer brings the copies, the autorización — and the urban country resolves the rest online.
The proof
The radicado photographed/as a PDF, the PSE receipts, the seals. At King Hands, recorded proof releases the payment — and the Colombian radicado is the regional reference for traceability.
Frequently asked questions
Does the derecho de petición really work?+
It is the star of Colombian administrative law — 15 working days with constitutional backing and a tutela if ignored. In the local gestor's hands, it unblocks almost everything.
Does the PSE accept payment from abroad?+
The PSE is Colombian banking; international cards enter many portals as the alternative. When nothing goes through, the gestor pays — the usual knot, light version.
